Bois Blanc (White Woods) Island, commonly called Boblo Island, is an island in the Detroit River on the Canadian side of the border and is part of Amherstburg, Ontario.

The beautiful Cypher Systems Group Greenway connects Essex to Amherstburg and intersects with the existing Chrysler Canada Greenway, connecting our community.

Located in the City of Windsor, Devonwood features more than 4.5 kilometres of trails promote healthy and active living for people of all ages.

With a breathtaking view of the Detroit skyline, Dieppe Gardens is located at Riverside Drive and Ouellette Avenue, along Windsor’s scenic, downtown waterfront.

This 45-acre park features walking and cycling trails within a naturalized setting. It is a great location for picnicking and relaxing by Blue Heron Lake.

Whether walking, cycling or jogging, the Ganatchio Trail lets you explore 8 km of scenic trails stretching from the City of Windsor to the Town of Tecumseh.

Udine Park, Jennifer Park, and Brookview Park are now all linked with Howard Avenue Park along the Grand Marais drain.

Jackson Park, with its more than 10,000 plants, is one of Windsor’s foremost attractions. The World War II Air Force Monument has replicas of a Hurricane and Spitfire.

Designated as a Bi-Centennial International Peace Garden.  Along the pathway are many manicured annual flower beds, a ships anchor, cannons, and a light house beacon.

This picturesque park is located on the shore of Lake Erie, it offers flowers gardens, walking paths, gazebo’s and a large indoor Pavilion.

Includes 65 acres of manicured turf, paved walking trail, outdoor fitness equipment, 10' climbing boulder, winding water channel, pond, 18 hole disc golf course and more.

McAuliffe Woods Conservation Area is located in the Town of Tecumseh. It is a 3 kilometre trail through a 9 hectare oak and hickory wooded area and thicket.

The complex includes Ojibway Park, Black Oak Heritage Park, Tallgrass Prairie Heritage Park, Spring Garden Natural Area and the Ojibway Prairie Provincial Nature Reserve.

Peche Island, a 100-acre island, is a naturalized park with walking trails and docking facilities and can only be accessed by boat. Has picnic tables and washrooms.

On the southern extreme of mainland Canada, Point Pelee National Park is a tiny sanctuary supporting a mosaic of habitats from jungle-like forest to lush wetlands.

Pollard Park contains a 1.47 km nature trail. The park is 21 acres in size and includes a pavilion that is available for public use, organized events and rentals.

A showplace and tourist attraction on the banks of the Detroit River, Reaume Park was designed for relaxation, recreation and as a place of civic pride.

Parkway Trail runs approximately 17 kilometres and is set within more than 300 acres of green space alongside the two highway extensions and across the 11 tunnel tops.

Sadler’s Park is a 10.4 acre nature park including a 1km walking path that extends into the first kilometre of the Essex-Amherstburg Greenway (ERCA).
