The Windsor Fastpitch Softball Hall of Fame WFSHOF is a Not-For-Profit organization formed in 2020 by a group of former fastball participants including Roger Awad, Hector Marinacci, Bob Schroeder, Bob Fraser, Al Zakoor, Don Dominas (Deceased), Earl Dafoe and Gerry Mayea. Our purpose is to preserve the legacy of Fastpitch Softball along with the many men and women players, coaches, managers, umpires, scorers, sports writers and team sponsors who have contributed to the success of this great sport in Windsor and Essex County over the years. In previous years, Windsor and Essex County was a thriving hotbed for fastpitch softball and part of the fabric of our community with an abundance of exceptional  players and leagues for both men and women. These leagues included Company Leagues, Industrial Leagues, Church Leagues, Bank Leagues, High School Leagues, Fraternity Leagues and premier National Fastball and  International Sr. A Leagues. Unfortunately, Sr. Men’s and Women’s Fastball is no longer popular in Windsor Essex County. However, thanks to the following organizations, girl’s fastball remains a thriving and exciting sport. Representatives from each of these organizations are committee members and will help continue to preserve the Windsor Fastpitch Softball Hall of Fame for many years to come.

· Windsor Lady Expos
· LaSalle Turtle Club
· Forest Glade Baseball

Thanks to the Windsor Star archives, photos and articles are displayed showing Ontario, Canadian, and Local League Champions, Batting Champions, Home Run Leaders, No Hit Pitchers and exciting game descriptions going as far back as 1930.We welcome community members to nominate a player, coach, manager, team, team sponsor, scorers, sports writers or any individual that contributed to the enhancement of the Fastpitch Softball scene.
