Member Tutorials - 3.0 Member's Dashboard Account Details Section




Welcome back to the Windsor Local Member Tutorials.

In this tutorial,  we talk about verifying your Profile Listing,  accessing your billing information,  changing your password and another way to log out.  Billing information includes adding or changing your credit card information,  looking at your payment history,  seeing the membership plan or subscription that you are in,  as well as changing your membership plan. 

Login and View Your Profile Listing

First we will discuss how to log in to Windsor Local,  and then get to your Dashboard. 

There are three ways to do this:

1.  Go to WindsorLocal.com in your web browser and click the 'Member Log in' link at the top right. . .  or, 

2.  Go directly to the login page: WindsorLocal.com/login

3.,  Enter your registered email address and  password,  then click on the green 'Log in Now' button. 

Once you log in,  you will be brought to your Dashboard.  

You can always get back to your dashboard by:

1.  Clicking the drop down button in your 'Welcome Link' at the top right,  then click on the yellow button called 'Dashboard'. . .  or, 

2.,  If you are already in a different area of your Dashboard,  you can click the 'My Dashboard' link at the top of the Do-It-All sidebar on the left,  to get back to your Dashboard Overview. 

3.  Now let's discuss your 'Accounts Detail' section. 

NOTE:  you can always see how the public views your Profile Listing by:

4.  Clicking the drop down button in your Welcome Link at the top right,  then click on the green button called 'View Listing'. . .  or

5.  If you are already in your Dashboard,  you can click the green button called 'View Public Listing',  which is underneath your Profile Photo at the top of the Do-It-All sidebar on the left. 

Account Details Section

Let's now look at the Account Details section. 

First,  it will show your Join date. 

Next,  it will list your Membership Plan or Subscription. 

The Membership Plans available are: Basic,  Pro,  VIP and VIP Plus. 

Each Membership Plan has its own features,  abilities and cost. 

Next is your Account Status,  which will show as 'Active' or 'Inactive'. 

Note:  if you ever need your Membership ID number,  it can be found in the Dashboard at point number 6, underneath your Profile Photo,  at the top of the Do-It-All sidebar on the left. 

Verification

Now,  let's dive into the Verification section. 

At Windsor Local,  we do our best to review every listing for appropriateness and authenticity. 

By verifying your identity,  you help us maintain a platform that is both safe for our visitors and one that provides current and accurate information. 

Once you are verified,  this badge will appear on your listing:

Required Verification Information

To verify your listing,  please enter any ONE of the following information in the form and submit it:

1.,  Your website URL,  which confirms your Profile Listing details. 

2.,  Your Facebook Page,  which confirms your Profile Listing details. 

3.,  Proof of membership in a local or professional organization,  which confirms your Profile Listing details. 

4.,  Copy of a bill or invoice,  which confirms your Profile Listing details. 

5.,  If you know the Owner or one of the Vice-Presidents of Windsor Local,  and are very certain that they can confirm your Profile Listing details,  please enter their name. 

6.,  Any other information to help us verify your identity. 

Once we review the information to confirm the details of your Profile Listing,  we will mark your Profile Listing as "Verified" within 24 hours,  and the 'Verified' badge will show on your Profile Listing. 

Billing Information

Lets move on to your Billing Information. 

On the Billing Information screen,  you can edit your credit card information,  look at your payment history and view your subscription. 

In the Payment History table,  you can see every transaction.  It will show the item,  due date,  amount,  invoice number and payment status.  Click on the 'Actions' button to the left of a line item,  and you can view the invoice,  then print or download it,  download the invoice directly,  or copy a web browser link to the invoice.  

Here is a look at an example invoice:

 

In the Subscription table,  you can see the Membership Levels you have been part of and their status.  It will show when the Membership Plan was activated,  the Product,  which is the Membership Plan,  the Payment Details,  your next payment date and the status. 

In the 'Credit Card on File' area,  you can add,  modify or delete your credit cards or credit card information.  Just click the yellow button labelled 'Update Card'. 

To update your billing address,  click the green button labelled 'Billing Address'.  Update your address and click 'Save'. 

In the 'Manage Account' area,  you can make the following changes. . . 

1.,  You can permanently close your Windsor Local account by clicking on the grey button labelled 'Close My Account'. 

2.,  You can go back to the Billing Information area by clicking the green button labelled 'View Billing Details'. 

3.,  You can upgrade or downgrade your Membership Plan by clicking the green button labelled 'Upgrade Membership Level'. 


Let's look further into upgrading your membership level.  After clicking the green button labelled 'Upgrade Membership Level',  choose the Membership Level you would like to upgrade or downgrade to.  Click on the yellow button labelled 'Continue with Upgrade'.  Choose the payment frequency and matching cost that you prefer.  The frequencies available are Monthly,  Quarterly and Annually.  Click the 'Change Membership Plan' button. 

An Order Summary will appear on screen.  Choose 'Continue with Upgrade' or 'No,  Cancel'.  If you continued,  you will get a successful membership change confirmation on screen,  and a button that will take you back to your Dashboard. 


Now,  back to the Account Details list.  The 'Change Password' area allows you to change your password.  Enter your current password,  new password,  and confirm your new password,  then 'Save Changes'. 


The final entry in the Account Details list allows you to log out.  You can also log out by clicking the drop-down arrow of your Welcome link in the top right of your screen,  then choose 'Log Out' at the bottom.  Log back in when you need to add,  modify or delete any items in your Profile Listing or Account Details.
